Following the latest news announced over the weekend, please note that the Covid-19 testing is no longer required to cross with Eurotunnel.

From UK to France:

The French Government has published modified regulations thus removing the need for a negative Covid-19 test to re-enter France after 48 hours in the UK. Eurotunnel confirms that there is no longer a requirement to present a negative test result to the French Border Police in Folkestone.

From France to UK:

From 00:01 UKT on Tuesday 06 April, the UK Government will introduce a COVID-19 testing requirement for truck drivers who will be in the country for more than 48 hours. Drivers will be able to be tested, if required at any testing centres in the country. The calculation of 48 hours is based on the day of arrival being day “zero”.

Therefore a driver arriving on Monday and staying in the UK after Wednesday would need to be tested before midnight on Wednesday.

Please note that the latest updated version of the Passenger Locator Form is still required for all drivers and their passengers before travel. Please ensure that you are in possession of the latest updated version when you travel.
