    What happens on our Freight terminals?

    Eurotunnel Border pass

    For speed and convenience, you can send your information to Eurotunnel through your online booking account before your driver turns up at the terminal.

    With a Border Pass and your vehicle is recognised by the registration number so drivers DO NOT NEED to present any documents at pit-stops.

    Top tip

    Create a Eurotunnel Border Pass whenever possible up to 30 minutes before arrival via your Eurotunnel online account. It can easily be amended. 

    If you do not have a Eurotunnel Border Pass, please ensure that your drivers have their barcodes ready to show at Pit stop. 

     

  • On arrival at Pitstop, drivers with a Border Pass will not be required to present any documentation as the information is linked to your vehicle registration number and automatically recognised.

    If presenting documents at Pit stop, drivers need to have their barcodes ready so that they can be scanned and linked to your vehicle registration number.
    [Note that no more than 12 barcodes per vehicle can be accepted at Pit stop. Create an envelope code if necessary.]

     What is your GRM code? 

     Do you have a customs document with a barcode?
    (import, export, transit declaration, envelope code...)

     Is your vehicle empty (or are you only carrying postal mail)?

     Do you have an ATA/TIR carnet?
    Please stamp your ATA / TIR carnet at FR/UK customs

     Are you carrying goods subject to sanitary or phytosanitary control?

     Are you carrying exclusively fish and/or seafood products?
