As previously announced, a travel certificate is required for entry or transit through French territory. This announcement follows the implementation of the Prime Minister’s instruction of 18 March 2020, n°6149/SG, regarding the decisions made to tackle the spread of Covid-19.
Each driver entering French territory must have the certificate available to present to border control authorities. Click here to download the certificate.
What’s new ?
Drivers can now complete the certificate directly on their mobile phone or any other device instead of the paper version.

The data is stored exclusively on the mobile phone or any other device. No information is collected by the Ministry of the Interior. The pdf certificate generates a QR Code which enables the information entered when you complete the certificate to be read.
Please ensure that your drivers have completed the certificate (paper or digital version) and ticked the appropriate box required by the French authorities for crossing the border before they arrive at the UK check-in.
It is really important that your drivers are fully aware of this requirement which will directly affect their cross-Channel journey from the UK to France.
