GENERAL CONDITIONS OF THE COMPETITION
This translation does not prejudge the unique legal validity of the French version.
Acceptance of these rules is a condition of participation in the Game.
Article 1 - Organising company
This game is organised by FRANCE MANCHE, registered in the Paris Trade and Companies Register under no. 333 286 714 and whose registered office is located at 3 rue de la Boétie in Paris (75008).
Article 2 - Duration of the Game
The Game runs from 17 October 2022 to 13 November 2022 inclusive.
Article 3 - Participants
Two games are organised as part of the "Goaaal! :
▪ To be eligible to participate in the 1er "Match 3/Winners" Game, the following conditions must be cumulatively met:
- be a truck driver,
- be 18 years of age or older,
▪ To be eligible to participate in the 2e game, a weekly draw entitled "Weekly Top Prize", the following conditions must be cumulatively met:
- be a Eurotunnel customer on the Shuttle Freight,
- have a ticket to travel through the Channel Tunnel, which must be valid between 10 October 2022 and 13 November 2022.
Each participant may only play individually and in his/her own name.
If there are two drivers in the vehicle, each driver can play individually.
Participation is strictly nominative and the participant may not under any circumstances play under several pseudonyms, with several email addresses, regardless of the number of email addresses he/she has or on behalf of other participants.
Any participation that does not comply with the above characteristics will not be taken into account. Participants authorise all verifications concerning their identity, age, postal address or the loyalty and sincerity of their participation. Any false declaration, false indication of identity or false address will result in the immediate elimination of the participant.
Article 4 - Terms of participation
The Game can be accessed on the internet at www. play-truckshuttle.com/goal
It is divided into two parts:
- a form allows you to participate in the "Match 3" and then in the "Instant Win" to try to win one of the 4 prizes at stake each day.
- A weekly draw will result in a "Top Prize" being awarded each week.
4.1 - 1er Game entitled "Outrun + Instant Win".
▪ To participate in the Game, the participant must go to www. play-truckshuttle.com/goal and then complete the registration form for the operation by filling in the mandatory fields marked with a star: Name, first name, Email and his/her nationality.
The participant must then click on "Continue" and then read the instructions and click on "Let's go! ". The game entitled "Outrun" will then begin for a period of 45 seconds.
Participation in the Outrun is unlimited.
When the participant has finished playing the "Outrun", he/she can try his/her luck in the "Instant Win" game which allows him/her to win a prize immediately. To find out if they have won a prize, the participant must click on one of the three trucks displayed.
Each day, 4 prizes are at stake in the Instant Win.
Participation in the instant win is limited to 4 times per day and per user.
4.2 The Weekly Top Prize Draw
On the "Instant Win" game results page, if the participant has lost or reached the limit of 4 "Instant Win" entries, he/she has the opportunity to play the Outrun again or to enter the weekly "Weekly Top Prize" draw to win an Xbox Series S console (one prize in play each week).
To participate, they must upload a photo or scan of their ticket and indicate their TTN (Transport Ticket Number) and then indicate their registration number.
Article 5 - Prizes
The Game prizes will be put into play and awarded to the winner(s) of the corresponding operation by instant win and random draw. Participants who have entered the weekly draw will be informed of their winnings during the following week.
5.2 Prizes in the "instant win" game
The prizes to be won by instant win:
- 28 footballs with an approximate value of €15 each
- 28 isothermal water bottles with an approximate unit value of €25
- 28 sports jackets with an approximate unit value of €40
- 28 sports bags with an approximate unit value of €20
5.1 Prizes in the draw
- 4 Xbox Series S worth €299 each
5.3 Other provisions
All prizes must be collected from the Truck Village (HGV car park at the Eurotunnel Freight Terminal, Channel Tunnel, 62231 Coquelles, France), together with their identity card and the winning email received following their entry. Should the Participant fail to claim their prize within 30 days, they will be deemed to have forfeited their prize.
The Organising Company reserves the right to replace the advertised prize with an equivalent prize, i.e. of the same value and with similar characteristics, if circumstances so require.
The prize may not be contested in any way. The winner may not claim the cash equivalent of the prize won or request its exchange for other goods or services.
In the event that the winner does not want to or cannot, for any reason whatsoever, benefit from all or part of the prize won, under the conditions described in these rules, he/she shall lose the full benefit of said prize and may not claim any compensation or consideration. The prize shall not be put back into play and the Organising Company may freely dispose of it.
The winners of the Game authorise any verification of their identity. Any false indication of identity shall result in their elimination. Likewise, the Organising Company reserves the right to pursue by any means any attempt to misuse these rules, particularly in the event of erroneous information
Article 6 - Designation of winners and award of prizes
The winning moments that trigger the awarding of one of the prizes to a participant are determined randomly. These winning moments are "open". A participant who plays at the time of the winning moment (date, hour, minute, second of the Game server) or, if no participant plays at that time, the participant who plays first after that winning moment, is thus declared a winner.
Each winner of the Weekly Top Prize draw will be notified by email via the email address provided by him/her at the time of entering the Game or by SMS, within 10 days of his/her entry date.
Only one prize may be awarded per person for the entire duration of the Contest (one prize per winner: same name, same address). In order to respect confidentiality, the list of winners may not be communicated to third parties.
Article 7 - Advertising
By the mere fact of participating, each winner authorises the Organising Company to use his/her first and last names in any publicity or promotional event related to this Contest, without this use conferring on the winner any right to remuneration or any other advantage other than the prize won. In any event, the use of this personal data in this type of event related to the Contest may not exceed 12 months after the end of the Contest.
If a winner objects to the use of his/her details, he/she must inform the Organising Company without delay by sending a letter to the following address: freight@eurotunnel.com
Article 8 - Data protection
i. By participating in the Game you agree that any personal data provided to FRANCE MANCHE in connection with the Game may be used by it, its partners and/or third-party suppliers (if any) in connection with the administration of the Game. Please refer to the Eurotunnel Le Shuttle Privacy Policy (available at www.eurotunnelfreight.com/fr/confidentialite) to find out more about how we may use your personal data.
ii. FRANCE MANCHE may publish your name on the Eurotunnel Freight website at www.eurotunnelfreight.com. Your email address may also be used to contact you regarding the Game. In addition, you agree to participate in any reasonable promotion required by Eurotunnel Le Shuttle.
Article 9 - Liability
To the extent permitted by law, FRANCE MANCHE, its agents and distributors shall in no event be liable to compensate the winner or accept any responsibility whatsoever for any loss, damage or injury arising as a result of accepting the prize, unless caused by the negligence of FRANCE MANCHE, its agents and/or distributors, or their employees.
Article 10 - General provisions
i. Any violation of these rules may result in the temporary or permanent exclusion of a participant.
ii. FRANCE MANCHE reserves the right to cancel, suspend or modify the Game when necessary.
iii. If any provision of these Rules is or becomes invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions which shall remain in force.
iv. The present rules are subject to French law and the French courts.
v. The French version of these rules shall prevail over the English or any other version.
