GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE COMPETITION

Acceptance of these rules is a condition of participation in the Game.

Article 1 - Organising company

This competition is organised by FRANCE MANCHE, registered in the Paris Trade and Companies Register under no. 333 286 714 and whose registered office is located at 37-39 rue de la Bienfaisance in Paris (75008).

Article 2 - Duration of the competition

The Game runs from 5 April to 5 May 2024 inclusive.

Article 3 - Conditions of participation  

Two games are being organised as part of the "Happy Birthday Eurotunnel" campaign.

- To take part in the first "Tape Taupe / Instant Win" game, you must cumulatively meet the following conditions:

- be a lorry driver,

- be aged 18 or over,

- be a LeShuttle Freight customer,

- be in possession of a Channel Tunnel ticket valid between 29 March 2024 and 5 May 2024.

- To take part in the second game, a final prize draw to be held at the end of the campaign during the week following 5 May 2024, the following conditions must be met cumulatively:

Have taken part in the first "Tape taupe / Instant win" game,

Fulfil all the conditions of the first game,

Be a member of the Drivers Club,

The e-mail address used to take part in the first "Tape Taupe / Instant win" game must be the same as that of the "Drivers Club" loyalty account.

Each participant may only play individually and in his/her own name.

If there are two drivers in the vehicle, each can play individually.

Participation is strictly nominative and the participant may under no circumstances play under several pseudonyms or with several e-mail addresses, regardless of the number of e-mail addresses he/she has or on behalf of other participants.

Any entry that does not comply with the characteristics set out above will not be taken into account. Participants authorise all checks concerning their identity, age and the loyalty and sincerity of their participation. Any false declaration or false indication of identity will result in the immediate elimination of the participant.

Article 4 - Terms and conditions of participation

The Game is accessible on the Internet at the following address: www.play-truckshuttle.com/30-years to try to win a prize each day. 

To take part in the competition, participants must go to www.play-truckshuttle.com/30-years and complete the registration form for the operation by filling in the mandatory fields marked with a star: surname, first name, e-mail address and nationality. The information relating to nationality enables the languages of the competition to be adapted.

The participant must then click on "Continue", read the instructions and click on "Go". The "Happy Birthday Eurotunnel" game will then begin.

The participant must have played the 60-second game, with no minimum number of points won required, to be eligible for the instant win.

The aim of the game is to click on objects, in this case candles (one click) and moles (two clicks), using your finger and tapping the screen if you are playing on a smartphone, or using your mouse if you are playing on a computer. At the same time, participants must avoid clicking on burnt-out candles.

Once the game has been played, the number of points awarded will appear on the screen and the participant will then be invited to upload a photo of his or her travel pass (TTN) and fill in the following fields:

Telephone number

If the game is won, the prize will be displayed on the screen. If loyalty points have been earned, the participant will then be invited to register for the LeShuttle Freight Drivers Club loyalty programme so that the points earned can be credited to his/her account and used. Information on the "Drivers Club" loyalty programme is available on the Internet at the following address: www.eurotunnelfreight.com/fr/avantages-client/driversclub.

Participation is limited to a maximum of four attempts per day. However, participants may only win once per day.

Article 5 - Prizes and endowments

- Tape Taupe / Instant win prizes

- A cap worth approximately €8 , subject to availability of 300 pieces,

- A T-shirt worth approximately €10, subject to availability of 300 pieces,

- A can-shaped thermos worth approximately €12, subject to availability of 300 pieces,

- Loyalty bonus points valid in the Drivers Club programme in increments of 50/100/200/500/1000 points, up to a maximum total of 137,600 points.

- Final prize draw

- A 4k OLED 65A2 television from LG worth €1,500.

All prizes, including the TV, can be collected from Le Truck Village (HGV car park at the Eurotunnel Freight Terminal, Channel Tunnel, 62231 Coquelles). The winner must bring their identity card, their TTN (Transport Ticket Number) as well as the winning e-mail received following their participation. Failing this, FRANCE MANCHE will refuse to award the prize.

The winner must collect his/her prize within 30 calendar days of the day on which he/she won. If this deadline is not met, the winner will lose his/her prize and the prize will be put back into play.

The loyalty points won will be credited to the "Drivers Club" account of each of the winners at the end of the competition and before 20 May 2024.

For loyalty points to be credited, participants must be registered with the "Drivers Club" loyalty programme using the same e-mail address as the one used for the game and before the end of the game, i.e. 5 May 2024. They must agree to the general terms and conditions of the "Drivers Club" loyalty programme. The e-mail address given on the game form may not be changed afterwards.

The awarding of points may not be contested in any way whatsoever. The winner may not claim the cash equivalent of the points won or request that they be exchanged for other goods or services.

If the winner does not create a "Drivers Club" account by 5 May 2024 at the latest, the points will be lost and cannot be awarded to a third party. The winner may not claim any compensation or consideration whatsoever. Lost points will not be awarded again.

The winners of the Game authorise any verification of their identity. Any false indication of identity will result in their elimination. Likewise, the Organising Company reserves the right to pursue by any means any attempt to misuse these rules, particularly in the event of erroneous information.

France MANCHE reserves the right to replace the advertised prize with an equivalent prize, i.e. of the same value and with similar characteristics, if circumstances oblige it to do so.

Article 6 - Designation of winners and allocation of prizes

Each winner will be notified by e-mail via the e-mail address they provided when they entered the Contest, within 10 days of their entry date.

In the interests of confidentiality, the list of winners may not be disclosed to third parties.

Article 7 - Advertising

By the mere fact of participating, each winner authorises the Organising Company to use his/her first and last names in any publicity or promotional event related to this Game, without such use conferring on the winner any right to remuneration or any benefit whatsoever other than the prize won. In any event, the use of this personal data in this type of event related to the Game may not exceed 12 months after the end of the Game.

If a winner objects to the use of his/her details, he/she must make this known to the Organising Company without delay by sending a letter to the following address: freight@eurotunnel.com

Article 8 - Data protection

i. By participating in the Game you agree that any personal data provided to FRANCE MANCHE in connection with the Game may be used by FRANCE MANCHE, its partners and/or third party suppliers (if any) in connection with the administration of the Game. Please refer to Eurotunnel's Privacy Policy (available at www.eurotunnelfreight.com/fr/confidentialite) to find out more about how we may use your personal data.

ii. FRANCE MANCHE may publish your name on the Eurotunnel Freight website at www.eurotunnelfreight.com. Your email address may also be used to contact you regarding the Game. In addition, you agree to participate in any reasonable promotion required by Eurotunnel LeShuttle.

Article 9 - Liability

Insofar as the law permits, FRANCE MANCHE, its agents and distributors shall in no case be responsible for compensating the winner or accepting any liability whatsoever in respect of any loss, damage or bodily injury arising as a consequence of the acceptance of the prizes, unless caused by the negligence of FRANCE MANCHE, its agents and/or distributors, or by that of their employees.

Article 10 - General provisions

i. Any breach of these rules may result in the temporary or permanent exclusion of a participant. 

ii. FRANCE MANCHE reserves the right to cancel, suspend or modify the Game if necessary.

iii. If any provision of these Rules is or becomes invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions which shall remain in full force and effect.

iv. These rules are subject to French law and to the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts.

v. The French version of these rules prevails over the English or any other version. Non-French versions are provided for information purposes only and have been produced using automated software.
